ASU police reported the following incidents:

A 25-year-old Tempe man was arrested at Hayden Library Monday morning on charges of loitering.

The man had reportedly been trespassed from the building three days earlier for looking at pornography on computers designated for student use only.

The man is mentally ill, according to the report, and was transported to a treatment

center.

A 24-year-old Tempe man was arrested at Spence Avenue and Rural Road Sunday evening on charges of driving under the influence of drugs.

The man was reportedly swerving between lanes when he was pulled over by police.

The man told police he was swerving because he had dropped his phone and also said he had a "sleeping issue" and was not supposed to be driving after 11 p.m., according to police.

The man's speech was slurred and blew a 0.00 on a portable breath test, but he failed the field sobriety tests and told the officer he had taken several Vicodin tablets, according to the report.

He was transported to the ASU Police Station, cited and released, police reported.

Tempe police reported the following incidents:

A 35-year-old Tempe woman was arrested on the 8200 block of South Hardy Drive Tuesday morning on charges of false reporting.

The woman reportedly told police that an unknown suspect had forged her signature to withdraw $440 from her bank account.

Video surveillance of the transaction shows the woman making the withdrawal, according to the report.

She was transported and booked into Tempe City Jail, police reported.

A 29-year-old Guadalupe woman was arrested at Wal-Mart, 1380 W. Elliot Road, Monday evening on charges of shoplifting and failure to pay.

The woman reportedly used the self-checkout counter and scanned only nine of the 54 items she had in her shopping cart. She then bagged the unpaid items with the paid items and attempted to leave the store, according to police.

She also had an outstanding Maricopa County Sheriff's Office warrant for possession of marijuana, according to the report.

The woman was booked into Tempe City Jail, police reported.

A 23-year-old Scottsdale man was arrested on the 1000 block of West Washington Street Saturday morning on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The man was reportedly pulled over after he was observed speeding and failing to stay in his lane.

He appeared to be impaired by alcohol and blew a .144 on a portable breath test, according to police.

The man told the officer he was going to murder him, said "this is bullshit" and called the officer a "pussy" and a "faggot," according to the report.

The man was transported and booked into Tempe City Jail, police reported.
