So it may not be anything too original, but nowhere is it easier to buy pounds of useless junk than in the store that has it all: Target. From your very entrance, when a massive section of dollar goodies meets your eyes, you know you will be exiting with a lot of necessities you never knew you needed. Flip-flops? Sure, why not? Candy from a recent holiday? Hey, there's only 365 days in a year. Past the buck section, it only gets worse. Cheap clothes and wall after wall of DVDs are a wicked combination, especially when you're still coming off a dollar-station high. Pretty soon seven candy bars, some framed posters, a new lamp, two novelty T-shirts and all five seasons of "24" have sneakily climbed into your cart. Don't try to fight it. Just keep your eyes forward and proceed to the checkout. When the scarlet-garbed attendant asks if you'd like to save 10 percent by getting a Target card, just nod your head. You know you'll be back.
