Best Greek Restaurant: Phoenicia Cafe

Gyros, pitas and couscous, oh my! Nothing can get you closer to the traditional taste of Mediterranean food than Phoenicia Cafe. From outside this small cafe, smells of fresh lamb and pita bread fill the air and tempt you to come inside. The Phoenicia Cafe is located right next to the Tempe mosque, which adds a touch of authenticity to the diverse atmosphere and rich quality of its food. Pictures of guests and family members line the walls of Phoenicia, and the service will make you feel right at home. The food is prepared fresh and includes gyros, falafel and homemade hummus. Connected to the Phoenicia Cafe is a small grocery shop where you can pick up Mediterranean food to make at home. Don't miss the fresh mango juice in the grocery and the mango shakes at the cafe - both are SPM favorites.
