ASU police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
An 18-year-old male ASU student was arrested Saturday morning on the south side of the Physical Education East building on charges of threatening and intimidating.
Police responded to a call that a group of six to eight men reportedly threw eggs, water balloons, cups of yogurt, metal signs and rocks at people building a float for the homecoming parade. The incident allegedly took place near the Business Administration building.
Six students near the Physical Education building were approached by police about the complaint, but they denied throwing anything at the float, police reported.
The witnesses allegedly only identified one of the six students as having thrown objects at the float.
A witness said the student held up a rock as if he was going to throw it several times and said he was afraid for his safety, police reported.
The student claimed he was only holding a rock, and continued to hold it, because the witness followed him and his friends, police reported.
The ASU Police Investigations Division is reviewing the police report to determine if it should be sent to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, police reported.
