ASU police reported the following incidents Thursday:
A 37-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Tuesday evening near the Loop 202 and 36th Street in Phoenix on an outstanding ASU warrant and charges of aggravated assault, criminal nuisance and public nuisance.
The man was being transported to Maricopa County Jail on an outstanding warrant when he reportedly began threatening the officers and spitting at them.
He spat on the plastic divider between the front seat and rear, and began spitting in the holes of the divider so his spit was reaching the officers, the front seats, the police computer and the dashboard, police reported.
He allegedly threatened physical harm and death to all police officers and Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
At the jail, he continued to threaten officers and spit, so a "spit hood" was placed over his head, police reported.
An 18-year-old male ASU student was arrested Wednesday morning at 1201 S. McAllister Ave. on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
A resident assistant reportedly smelled marijuana coming out of a room and police were dispatched to the scene.
Police entered the room with the permission of the resident, police reported.
A multicolored glass pipe with marijuana residue reportedly was sitting on top of a counter near the front door.
The resident said the pipe was his and he was smoking marijuana earlier, police reported.
The police reportedly asked to search his room and he declined.
