ASU police reported the following incident Tuesday:
A 41-year-old Tempe man was arrested on a field near Sahuaro Hall Friday night and charged with indecent exposure and public sexual indecency. The suspect was allegedly following and watching a group of students. Witnesses reported that he appeared to be masturbating. They also allegedly saw his penis during the incident. The suspect was transported to the ASU police department and transferred to the Fourth Avenue Jail.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
A 28-year-old transient woman was arrested Monday night on the 1600 block of West Baseline Road and charged with prostitution. The suspect allegedly agreed to have sex with an undercover officer for $200. The officer contacted the woman because of an Internet advertisement, police said.
An 18-year-old transient man was arrested Monday afternoon on the 200 block of East Chicago Street in Chandler and charged with sexual conduct with a minor. The suspect allegedly engaged in consensual vaginal sex with a 13-year-old female. The suspect reportedly said the female had told him several times that she was a 13-year-old.
A 28-year-old Tempe man was arrested Monday afternoon on the 1000 block of West Fifth Street and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous drug. According to police reports, the suspect hit an 18-year-old with an aluminum baseball bat during a verbal engagement. The victim's right arm was fractured several times, police said. He also sustained lacerations that required several stitches. Police also reportedly found a small bag containing a white crystalline substance in the suspect's wallet, believed to be methamphetamine.
