"I overheard a girl talking on her cell phone, and she made the comment that something was totally 'Indian giving.' As a Native American student at ASU, I was completely offended by that comment. And I just wanted to let people know that the term is culturally insensitive and derogatory, especially given the history of Native Americans here in the United States ... "
