A Mongoose Mountain bike was stolen from a bike rack at Manzanita Hall early Monday morning, police said. The bike was taken along with its lock and cable from a bike rack. Police said the total estimated loss was $150.
A 2004 Nissan Murano was damaged in a hit-and-run incident in Parking Structure 4 Monday, police said. The owner of the car told officers the car had been parked in the northwest area of the second level. There was significant damage to the rear bumper, she added. Damage is estimated at $500. Police said earlier in the evening dispatch had received a call describing a white Chevrolet leaving the structure with front damage. Its license plates did not match any on file with ASU Parking and Transit Services. The case is awaiting further leads.
