Election Special: 2005 field guide to student government

Just imagine all of the election signs in planters, semi-shady politicians, cheesy campaign slogans and massive budgetary expenditures at ASU.

You don't have to think back all the way to the Oct. 13 U.S. Presidential Debate between President George W. Bush and Senator John Kerry.

You need only look around campus today as you stroll by cardboard (or vinyl) shrines to student government candidates. Maybe you'll take a look and thoughtfully consider the issues facing campus in the near future. Maybe you'll draw a mustache on one of the candidates' faces. Either way, good for you.

Even if you were in a 25-mph golf cart or rollerblading past a number of signs, just barely missing pedestrians in your path as you craned your neck to look at the signs, surely you couldn't have missed all the action.

Welcome to election season at ASU.

You're left with the task of making a decison today and Thursday, the days of the election. This page contains links to information on various candidates that will help you to better make a decision, and will be left up running through the end of the election.

To vote, visit ASU Interactive. Student government publishes election information on its Web site at www.asasu.org.

What follows is a list of links to information provided by all of the candidates that have responded to requests for information from The State Press and Web Devil. Take a look, make your decision and go out and vote.
