Brief: Fraternities rumble

An ASU student from Sigma Pi was allegedly assaulted by several Pi Kappa Alpha members on Sunday at 2:15 a.m. on Alpha drive.

According to police records, Sigma Pi members alleged that Pi Kappa Alpha members threw glass bottles into their yard, which was followed by a confrontation in the parking lot with several members from both fraternities.

Sigma Pi members allegedly told police that 10 men from Pi Kappa Alpha hit a Sigma Pi member in the face, then followed him into the Sigma Pi house and continued to beat him.

Police reported that the Sigma Pi member assaulted did not want to press charges.

Both fraternities refused to comment.
