Put away your heavy knee-high boots and Uggs, because it's time, ladies.
Finally, what we've been waiting for all winter has finally arrived ... the latest shoe collection from Gucci! The cruise, classic and spring collections are in, and they're fabulous.
In the spring shoes, you'll find a lot of metallics, like gold and bronze. Some vibrant colors like red, hot pink, and teal are also scattered throughout. Some are even mixed with a few signature prints in a category dominated by pointed-toe pumps and sandals, as well as mid-heel slides. But rest assured, leisure soldiers will find comfort in low-heel slingbacks and flat thongs.
If you think forking out $285 for flip flops is excessive, you obviously haven't seen Gucci's adorable--and expensive--pink and green, leather-trimmed thongs.
Cruise shoes come in an array of flora prints and bright solids, while pumps are available in marigold, bamboo green and candy pink leather. Snakeskin trim and light gold horsebits add variety to the design. Interesting texture combinations like striped canvas mixed with natural leather, or green suede on wooden clogs, are seen here. Mid-heel moccasins provide an out-of-the-ordinary option, while flat pumps further perpetuate this ongoing trend.
The classic collection produces no surprises but doesn't disappoint fashion lovers. For a night on the town, consider the $595 ankle-strap sandal. It comes in silver satin and is adorned with Swarovski sparkles. Its alter ego, the signature ankle-strap sandal in black, has a three-and-a-half-inch heel with matching suede trim. Simple and sexy, this sandal goes with everything. Low-heel pumps in patent leather, signature sneakers and suede loafers reappear from previous seasons in the same collection.
No matter what you decide to use to adorn your feet this season, Gucci fashions are definitely worthy of consideration. The label's new handbag collection is equally exemplary and deserves a quick peek if you get the chance to check it out.
