Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:
A 25-year-old Tempe man was arrested at the 100 block of West University Drive on Sunday evening on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, giving false information to police, urinating in public and failure to appear in court regarding a charge of alcohol consumption. The man was allegedly urinating in an alley and reportedly gave police a false name. A search allegedly revealed marijuana in the man's shorts pocket and rolling papers in his wallet.
A 22-year-old male ASU student was arrested at his Tempe residence late Thursday night and charged with possession of marijuana. The student was arrested at the 600 block of West Rio Salado Parkway after police allegedly found him to "be in possession of a usable amount of marijuana."
An 18-year-old male McClintock High School student was arrested late Friday night on the 700 block of South Mill Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, alcohol and stolen property and two counts of misconduct with weapons. Police report the suspect was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for an alleged traffic violation. Officers allegedly found alcohol bottles and a glass pipe with marijuana residue on the vehicle's center console, plus a case of marijuana and a marijuana cigarette at the suspect's feet. A loaded 9 mm semiautomatic pistol also was found under the suspect's seat. Police later determined the weapon to have been stolen.
A 32-year-old male transient was arrested near the intersection of Rural and Broadway roads Sunday afternoon and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct. The man allegedly yelled and used obscene language toward two females in the area. Police also report that he yelled at two nearby juveniles "and made comments that he would gouge out their eyes."
