Web Extra Police Brief: Officers searching for serial bank robber

A single, serial bank robbery suspect has been traced to several crimes in Tempe, according to a report released by Tempe police on Tuesday.

The man is known to act like a customer, and make demands from a teller either verbally or with a note, according to the report. The man is described as Hispanic in appearance and between 25 and 45 years old.

The man is between 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with medium build and short, dark hair. He sometimes wore a fake mustache, sunglasses, hat and glove during the robberies, and could have limited use of his left hand.

People who think they have seen the suspect should call (480)350-8311 or Silent Witness at (480)WITNESS, police said. A reward will be given for information that leads to an arrest.
