Just when it looked as if Maurice Clarett would remain out of the football spotlight until the 2005 NFL draft, he just happens to reappear.
Clarett made news Wednesday by saying that he was tired of standing by the side of Ohio State University, and he was ready to tell his side of the story.
Clarett claims that he was given a brand new SUV to drive whenever he needed it, paid to watch paint dry while "working" and paid by OSU boosters to play video games with their kids.
While I actually believe that Clarett is telling the truth, I believe that the only reason he decided to come clean is because he has been out of the national spotlight and he needs some publicity.
But, I can't blame him, and I also like the fact that he exposed "The Ohio State University," as all the overpaid alums say it on Monday Night Football.
