ASU committee eyes Sodexho

ASU's student and faculty Anti-Sweatshop Advisory Committee will look into matters pertaining to Sodexho's alleged maltreatment of campus employees.

A delegation of five students representing Sodexho workers met with three representatives of Student Affairs at the Memorial Union on Wednesday.

The meeting was to see if the ASU administration obtained a copy of an alleged anti-union video shown on campus.

Sally Ramage, associate vice president of Student Affairs, Mike Matthies, ASU facilities and contract manager, and Bob Soza, co-chair of the committee met with the delegation.

Ramage informed the students that she informally requested to see the video and that the committee will investigate the alleged violations after they receive a letter regarding the situation, Soza said.
