ASU police reported the following incident Monday:
An 18-year-old ASU student was arrested Sunday morning near the Architecture Building. The minor was charged with being under the influence of alcohol after he allegedly told police that he drank "a small amount of Bacardi." The suspect reportedly informed police that he was with the Minnesota Police Department. He then pointed to an empty bench and said, "I'm just chilling with these guys."
Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:
A 28-year-old Tempe man was arrested and charged with imprisoning and assaulting his ex-girlfriend near the 1000 block of East University Drive Monday. The suspect allegedly slapped and choked the victim before holding her in a bedroom against her will.
An 18-year-old Tempe man was pulled over Friday night and arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of marijuana near the intersection of Rural Road and University Drive. The suspect allegedly had his 2-year-old child in the car.
A 32-year-old transient man was arrested at Kiwanis Park near the 100 block of West Baseline Road Monday on a charge of possessing alcohol at the park without a permit. Police allege the suspect also had a glass pipe that had been used to smoke methamphetamines.
