Road rage just became a team sport. So put away your car keys, pick up a joystick, and leave the Arizona streets to the snowbirds, it's time to engage in some therapeutic road rage.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is the long awaited sequel to the 1992 release of Super Mario Kart and the 1998 release of Mario Kart 64. With more karts, characters, weapons, and courses, MKDD is more fun than its predecessors.

MKDD has a total of sixteen characters that can be paired anyway you want, but not every driver can ride on all the vehicles. The drivers and karts are divided into three divisions: small, medium, and large; and the drivers cannot ride on karts smaller than themselves. Be careful how the drivers and karts are matched, because each has her/his own strengths and weaknesses for each of the twenty different tracks.

MKDD retained the six original weapons, (red/green/blue shell, single/triple mushroom, banana, star, and lightning bolt) to obtain and eight specialty armaments that only particular characters can acquire, like the ball and chain for Baby Mario and Baby Luigi. MKDD is also loaded with secret characters and courses that will keep any gaming guru hunting for hours.

With the return of the popular battle modes and the addition of new ones, you have no excuse to get in there and kick your roommate's ass. Go out and get Mario Kart: Double Dash!! today.
