Devil Dish: Arizona playoffs all about the Skydome

A little while back, I made the statement that NAU was playing a better brand of football than ASU and UA.

I wanted students to wake up to the fact that the best place to watch college football in Arizona was Flagstaff.

Well, I am proud to announce that Flagstaff is now the ONLY place in Arizona to watch college football.

While UA and ASU begin off-season workouts and coaches give end-of-the-season wrap-ups, NAU coaches and players are on the field practicing for a playoff game.

Last week, NAU topped No. 1 McNeese State on the road in dominating fashion, and this Saturday it faces Florida Atlantic in Flagstaff.

So if you're still in the mood for college football, don't look to Sun Devil Stadium because it'll be as empty and pointless as preseason hype.

It's all about the Skydome now.
