Police Beat: Bash on Ash customer couldn't hold it


Tempe police reported the following incidents Sunday:

A 23-year-old Tempe man was arrested near the 1800 block of West Baseline Road on charges of domestic violence and assault after he reportedly pushed the victim with two hands, causing her to fall to the ground.

A 34-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested near 5000 Arizona Mills Circle on charges of shoplifting after she reportedly put several articles of clothing in her purse and then left the store without paying.

A 27-year-old Chandler man was arrested near the 1700 block of East University Drive on DUI charges.

A 32-year-old Tempe woman was arrested near the 400 block of West Baseline Road on charges of domestic violence and assault after she reportedly hit her boyfriend three times with an open hand during the course of an argument over use of his cell phone.

A 29-year-old Queen Creek man was arrested near the 200 block of West Fifth Street on charges of urinating in public after he reportedly urinated inside Bash on Ash.

A 22-year-old Tempe man was arrested near the intersection of Fifth and Maple streets on charges of assault after he reportedly hit the victim in the face with an open hand, causing bleeding from the victim's nose and mouth.
