Tempe police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
A 27-year-old transient woman was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping and theft of means of transportation near the 1200 block of South 52nd Street. The woman reportedly strangled, punched, kicked and hit the victim while demanding the pin number of her ATM card and attempting to steal her car. The victim sustained a broken nose.
A 41-year-old Mesa man was arrested for driving with a suspended license near the 400 block of East Southern Road.
A 34-year-old transient man was arrested for criminal trespass near the 600 block of South Hardy Drive. The man allegedly jumped a locked fence and remained on the premises.
An 18-year-old transient man was arrested on charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass near the 200 block of East Broadmor Drive. The man was reportedly seen running from a house that he and two friends had allegedly burglarized.
A 32-year-old Tempe woman was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia near the 1400 block of South Terrace Road. Officers reportedly found the woman to be in possession of half of a marijuana cigarette, rolling papers and a marijuana pipe.
An 18-year-old transient man was arrested near the intersection of Mill Avenue and University Drive on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. The man was reportedly in possession of a multicolored glass pipe containing residue believed to be marijuana.
A 45-year-old Texas man was arrested on DUI charges near the intersection of University and Casitas drives. The man reportedly emitted a distinct odor of intoxicating beverages when pulled over for failure to remain in one lane.
A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested near the 1400 block of East Apache Boulevard on charges of consuming alcohol in public and minor in possession of alcohol. Officers reportedly saw the man drinking from a 40-ounce bottle of Mickey's beer hidden in a paper bag.
ASU police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
A wallet was reportedly stolen from the Student Services Building. The wallet reportedly contained $300.00 and $2,050.00 in unauthorized charges were made on the three credit cards reportedly contained within the wallet.
A license plate was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked in Lot 59.
