It's been said in the past the Los Angeles Lakers have the ability to turn it on and off whenever they want.
I'm convinced.
The Lakers started the season very slow and everyone said they'd still win it all. After their record fell to a dismal 11-19, some of those same critics began counting them out from even making the playoffs.
Shame on you!
Los Angeles climbed all the way back to the number five spot in the Western Conference and came out so aggressively in the first game against Minnesota it looked like the team they put on the floor to win the previous three NBA championships.
Once they earned home court though, the Lakers took a break from game two of the series, turning that switch right back to the off position.
If only Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban had one of those switches. Maybe it would prevent him from having a heart attack in the next four weeks.
