ASU police are currently searching for a man who reportedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted an ASU student in her car on Sept. 10.

Police reports describe the suspect as a clean-cut, black male, 18 to 25 years old, average height, athletic build and a short afro hairstyle.

He was last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt, blue mesh shorts, white sneakers and a blue nylon backpack with tan suede on the bottom, according to ASU police reports.

The victim also described to police that the man was wearing a gold necklace with an anchor charm on it.

Lt. John Sutton said a detective has been assigned to investigate the report and do follow-up interviews with the victim.

The incident reportedly occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 when the victim, an ASU justice studies student, was walking from the Agriculture Building to her truck, parked in Lot 13.

As the victim got into the driver's side of the truck, the perpetrator entered the car through the passenger side, according to police reports.

The suspect then allegedly told the victim to drive.

She reported that she then drove eastbound on Lemon Street, turned south on a street she didn't know and continued driving south and crossed Apache Boulevard.

Once she crossed Apache Boulevard, police reports said the suspect told the victim to pull over and said, "This is where I'm going."

After the victim stopped, the suspect allegedly grabbed her by her ponytail, pulled down his shorts and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
