Dancing the night away at Homecoming Ball

This year's Homecoming Ball in Old Main was a fun-filled night of dancing for all.

"I did not expect to have quite as much fun as I did," said freshman theater major Norma Ryan.

The ball, sponsored by the Associated Students of ASU as a part of this year's Homecoming festivities, carried a "Devil's Island" theme which was upheld throughout the night.

Live music was provided by "an energetic DJ," said Anna Shultz, a psychology sophomore.

Unlike some high school dances, there were no shy dancers on the dance floor.

"I came because I love to dance," said math junior Jen Hummer.

"It's good to see everyone dressed up," said Richard Loehr, a broadcasting freshman.

Most people came in groups with their friends, including a large delegation from Lamda League.

However, not everything was picture perfect.

"They need to play more slow songs," said speech and hearing science junior Jessica Schaur.

Although there were approximately 200 people coming and going throughout the night, civil engineering junior Scott Kelley "expected more people."
