ASU held Oregon after the first goal all the way to halftime. By the half, the Sun Devils took five shots with the Ducks taking seven.
However, Oregon dominated ASU in the second frame and scored three more goals to extend its lead to 4-0.
A one-on-one opportunity between freshman goalkeeper Emma Malsy and Oregon's sophomore midfielder Bayley Bruner earned the Ducks' second goal of the game in the 47th minute.
The third goal for Oregon came in the 48th minute after sophomore midfielder Marissa Everett took a shot on goal, but was deflected by Malsy. Junior midfielder Abby Morrow followed the shot and was able to tap in the deflection from Malsy putting Oregon up 3-0.
The fourth and final goal from Oregon happened off a penalty kick after Malsy took down Everett near the top of the box. Sophomore midfielder Sofia Chambers took the penalty kick in the 50th minute and scored her first goal of the season.
