ASU football picked up a verbal commitment from a highly-touted defensive end Dougladson Subtyl, a junior college product that is expected to bolster an already staunch Sun Devil pass rush upon arriving in Tempe in 2016.

Subtyl had nine sacks as a freshman at Victor Valley Community College and is a top prospect for the Devilbacker position.
Subtyl visited the Tempe campus on Oct. 10 for ASU's 48-23 win over Colorado . He had offers from 20 schools, including Auburn, Texas A&M, and Utah. He had a visit scheduled for Kansas State on Nov. 21, for the team's game against Iowa State.
