Turner is the sixth football commitment to the class of 2016, and will also be on the baseball team.
Turner is a four-star football prospect out of Holy Cross High School in New Orleans, La., who has record a sub-4.4 second time in the 40-yard dash, according to Rivals.
He is the second running back prospect to announce their commitment to ASU for the class of 2016, joining three-star prospect Freddie Holly.
ASU football has also received reported commitments from JUCO defensive end Christian Hill, offensive linemen Marshal Nathe and Cohl Cabral and defensive back DJ Morgan.
The Sun Devils are no stranger to multi-sport athletes on the gridiron and the diamond, as then-freshman quarterback Coltin Gerhart batted .182 while playing as an outfielder for the baseball team in 2015.
