On Thursday, ASU got its first commitment to its 2016 recruiting class, with versatile athlete Hunter Kampmoyer pledging to the Sun Devils.
Kampmoyer played tight end and defensive end at Bishop Union High School (California). According to Devils Digest, he was recruited to play 3-back/tight end. He is a three-star recruit according to Rivals.com.
On defense, Kampmoyer had 109 tackles, 12 sacks, four forced fumbles and four passes defended in 2014. On offense, he had 19 carries for 104 yards to go along with 21 catches for 462 yards.
