It’s true that some things are better together — Adam and Eve. Romeo and Juliet. Chip and Dale. Hip and hop. Pride and Prejudice. Batman and Robin. Baskin and Robbins.

When she woke up to headlines announcing that Barack Obama had selected Joe Biden as his running mate, one of my friends was amused at the word choice — “Obama Taps Biden.” I, sadly, missed out
